NTCC's Information Technology program recently upgraded a portion of their lab area to include a raised floor. The new raised floor was built by the center's Building Construction students. A raised floor is used in the industry in server rooms to allow for a temperature controlled environment. For the purpose of the IT lab, the raised floor will serve to keep the many wires running throughout the lab area hidden underneath.
