The Martha Grace Pepper Legacy Award is given in memory of Martha Grace Pepper a nurse who worked locally in nursing for over 30 years. Ms. Pepper has a legacy of nursing in her family, several of whom are affiliated with the Northern Tier Career Center either as an educator or a graduate of the Practical Nursing Program. The award is presented to a student who demonstrates caring and compassion, strong academics, and patient advocacy. Raelyn Slater was chosen as the recipient of this award.
